Strandtown P.S. Awarded Third Place in "Beat the Street!"

At a ceremony at Queens PEC, Strandtown were awarded 3rd place in the 'Beat the Street' initiative. Strandtown received £250 of Decathlon vouchers to promote physical activity within school. Pupils from all year groups, parents and Mr. Ewart were present at the ceremony to receive the award from the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Brian Kingston. Mrs. Hutchinson would like to thank all of the pupils, parents, teachers  and grandparents who took part in this "Get Active" initiative which enabled our school to be placed third. Keep walking!!!!
