This week has marked the beginning of our Forest School site within Strandtown Primary. With help from The Tree Council and their Orchards for Schools pack, we have planted ten fruit trees this week. We hope to add some hedging this week also. Room 11 worked hard preparing the ground and planting a variety of trees. There will be lots to add in the coming months and each class will have opportunities to plant and take care of our site as it continues to grow in the coming months and years.
A huge thank you to Mr Jennings for digging the holes for us!
