We are absolutely delighted to have been nominated by parents for the Best School Award at the Spring Families First Awards. People are invited to make comments in a voting capacity between the 19th and 25th March 2020 online and we will remind you of this when it opens.
The judges are not looking at the volume of votes but the quality of comments expressing any positive experiences of the school. From extra-curricular opportunities to support during the school day whether in class, Learning Support or Pupil Support. From parent engagement in focus groups or workshops to pupil voice and involvement in committees and councils.
We believe in the pursuit of the best possible learning opportunities for our pupils every day in Strandtown. This award would simply give us something to celebrate with our whole Strandtown family, but most importantly, recognition for the pupils in the contribution and achievements they have made within their school.
