This week at Eco Club was eggstra eggciting with the visit of 4 ducklings born only days before! Thank you Mrs Canning for bringing in these new born balls of fluff and introducing us to different types of ducks and duck information! We named them Bubbles, Peep, Ritchie and Peaches and we found out that female ducks of this age have pink beaks while the drakes’ beaks are a greyish blue. The ducklings seemed to love all the attention and a stroll around the Eco garden, before curling up around each other, beaks together, for a little snooze.
We did have a little time to compost and plant sunflower seeds too…
