On Friday, we welcomed 12 volunteers from the N.I.Assembly to provide much needed help in our Eco Gardens. Our volunteers cut grass, trimmed the willow dome, weeded flower beds, trimmed hedges and shrubs, cleared paths of moss, weeds and dirt and much more.
At the end of the day, pupils and staff were amazed and how are gardens had been transformed in such a short space of time by our volunteers from the N.I. Assembly.
Strandtown PS would like to place on record its thanks to the N.I.Assembly team for the joyous way they helped to transform our school gardens today.
