At our Easter assembly on Friday we were saddened to say goodbye to Mrs. McQuitty, our librarian and very special friend.
Mrs. McQuitty has been associated with Strandtown since 1949. She attended the school as a pupil, worked in the school office up to the year 2000, then on her retirement came back to work on a short term basis as the school librarian. Her short term role lasted up until March 2018!!
Mrs. McQuitty will be missed greatly by all of the Strandtown pupils and staff but everyone knows she deserved a very blessed, peaceful and happy retirement.
Thank you Mrs. McQuitty for everything you have done over the last 69 years for Strandtown.
